Afterwards, the almond and a bit of heliotrope sets in and this is very delightful. Loads of people talk about best vanilla perfumes and they forget this gem. Not sure why everyone gets so much of the west Indian bay, I think it smells more like a spicy vanilla. If you like the oregano in Serge Lutyens Amber Sultan, you would also like the level of spiciness in here, just with vanilla instead of amber. Elegant crowd pleaser. I think Le parfum is really a strange one, not typical feminine sweet vanilla scent. So long lasting and lovely. Sure, there are some genres that I lean into more heavily than others, but ultimately I feel like I am building a library that covers an entire spectrum of olfactory experiences. My gripe with this is that it lasts approximately 14 seconds on my skin before disappearing. Preisvergleich liegt ab 5,54€ bzw 5,95€ bei dm. Its smells almost identical to Shalimar Initial. This is an absolute cheapie (30 bucks for a bug bottle) that is worth it's price ten times over. Some reviews here say it lacks originality and has unisex qualities - I absolutely disagree! Oh my goodness..this is a prime example of never giving up on a fragrance..so this fragrance when I first bought it was soo medicinally strong because of the West Indian bay note. The scent stays pretty much like this with moderate sillage and later becomes just slightly sweet vanilla skin scent. I bought it blind. Seems that my vanilla must be moderated by something else that equals or overpowers the vanilla; vanilla+leather+rubber in Bvlgari Black is breathtakingly beautiful. I did a blind swap for this about 7 months ago and thought it had something off that I didn't like so I was disappointed and put it away. It´s a piece of art, so beautiful. If you're looking for strong tonka, try it out. It would make an incredibly risky blind buy, so I would recommend testing it first before taking the plunge. I’ve been wearing it on my walks, while cooking over the holidays, and just hanging around the house with kids. I sprayed heavily yesterday morning and it was a skin scent to my nose within 30 mins. Smells more unisex than fem fragrance fortunately :) I don't know why but reminds me also Lolita Lempicka's scents... OMG!I don't have words to describe how much i love this scent! I bought it a while ago but I wouldn't want to wear it every day, it's too special. Vanilla flavoured whipped cream spiced with pepper=Lalique Le Parfum. One of my top 10 favorites of my entire collection. 3.5/5. I have grown the evergreen pepper tree, 'Schinus molle', in my garden and have occasionally broken a glossy serrated leaf for the fragrance that releases. It's classy and alluring. This is too plastic to me, so strange and there is no harmony or chic. Tan. Not a challenging fragrance but rich and comfortable. I find this to be a unique scent. It's a Perfume with a capital P. It's big, boisterous, powdery, sweet, smooth, retro, opulent... all of those fun adjectives. A creamy mix of almond and vanilla, with the bay leaf throwing in a dash of something green and fresh, but only a little pinch really. That is all I’m getting right now but beautiful enough to get me hooked. It has enormous sillage and it might give you (and those around you) headaches if oversprayed. On me it smells like a very spicy powdery vanilla but it stays pretty close to skin maybe it will have better performance on clothes. It is one that I cannot wear when I am feeling sick, or wanting to impress... it is one that I will wear on those very few and rare days when I feel like having a relaxing and indulgent day. No problem. I must mention my catch phrase again. Unique scent. I'm going to tell you right now this is such a extreme fragrance because it's like the mixtures in notes are so opposite from each other you may find it too challenging and I think it's definitely a love or hate fragrance. I think a male could wear it very well but would not class it unisex - it's still quite feminine to my nose. escada magnetism meets hypnotic poison! I then smelled my hand, and the scent was on my hand, but faint. Usually, I find vanilla note to be too sweet or too powerful, but this vanilla fragrance is so well blended with other beautiful notes like heliotrope and pink pepper. Its a real feel good scent. There is a slight breeze and the breeze moves the perfume makes it swirl around me that travel in the air and it smells beautiful and it's not heavy. I love vanilla and tonka perfumes but I don't get much of either in this at this point (from beginning to about hour 4) or it's so unsweet, I don't recognize it. Probably because it's not as mainstream. 4th bottle - still in love with Lalique le Parfum EdP =). We both adore the dry down on me so I wait patiently for top notes to settle. It gives off a powdery floral vanilla musky scent on me. The fumes that stick on my coat sleeves last longer on me than this (I wish I was joking). To me this is what I wish Dior Homme Intense was. This does remind me of Mon Guerlain. This doesn't smell like anything else I've ever worn. I would describe the scent as vanilla-oriental with a great spicy/ambery effect, as well as a slight green/herbal quality from the bay leaf. It's sexy without trying too hard. I don't like it, but I would like it on a guy I think. Boozy, sweet, airy and still thick vanilla. I would love to smell the older version as the scent is fantastic and to me unisex, but very disappointing performance. Ever since this fragrance was launched, I am wearing it. I am sampling Lalique Le Parfum at the moment and the more I wear it the more I love it. I love the spicy bay/pink pepper top notes here, the feminine heliotrope and jasmine florals, that sweet rich tonka, vanilla, patch base. I literally could not smell anything else....but the bay leaf! Classy scent, what a beauty. It is a well hidden treasure and i understand most of the reviewers here, this perfume can take a very special place in a perfumsta collection :-). Onother brilliant blind buy! I can't speak to longevity because on me lately nothing sticks; after one hour this was pretty much gone (though I wore Black Orchid yesterday and that lasted on me until morning!) I have to children in diapers I want to smell something other then baby powder lol. Good stuff I tell ya ;). Wow, opulent beautiful surprise from Denmark))). This was yet another blind buy, after all the glowing reviews here on trusty Fragrantica. It reminds me of the 90's when colognes started to evolve into sweeter blends. Not syrupy at all and the bay leaf note adds a nice dried, green herbal touch. I'll continue through to the base to see if this fragrance redeems itself, but it appears that this one is just not compatible with my skin chemistry. When I first learned of this perfume and its notes, it was immediately added to my want list. And the soft tones of perfumes fit the bill for some of us. It is a little powdery and sweet but just the right amount to me. I can not imagine wearing this in the summer, but it's perfect for cold and damp weather. One of the few vanilla fragrances that is not sticky sweet, Lalique le Parfum includes enough fresh green bay laurel to counterbalance vanilla's sugary qualities. Sweet, soft vanilla with pink pepper and powder and lots of bay leaf. Encuentra las marcas más icónicas, como Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Armani, Ralph Lauren y muchas más. Bitter and aromatic, the almonds are too much for me. But what I got was something a bit more exotic. Le Parfum is incredibly beautiful in warm weather! I am not - it gave me a bad headache... Lalique Le Parfum Perfume 3.3 oz EDP... (. ~ I'm in love ~ finally a perfume that is not , I repeat not heavy in the "vanilla " department . It's amazing! The longevity of the new one is just as big as of the old one, at least on me, and the silage of the new formula is huge, just like the old one. Why is this so cheap?? Big V-bomb with tonka and bay leaf, it has a bit of a spicy undertone coupled with a big dose of nostalgia. This is one gorgeous, distinctive and addictive scent that I never would have considered had I not read the reviews on Fragrantica. Now I've been craving sweet, boozy, spicy, thick vanilla and I pulled this out and now I love it! i bought this one cuz there are so many LOVE here. It does smell classy though, definitely mature. It is a soft, sweet, complex and aromatic vanilla. Die Handwerkerbörse WORK5.DE - Jetzt KOSTENLOS Handwerker & Dienstleister finden. After reading some reviews I was expecting a powerhouse of a scent but was positively surprised to find that Le Parfum is actually quite tame. It also isn't "beachy", with coconut, melon etc. I really enjoy how different most perfumes are during different seasons. Very warm and cozy, but also elegant, a nice winter daytime perfume that is a little sweet and a little spicy. Since trying Le Parfum I have quickly found that this is one of Lalique's trickiest fragrances to wear and understand. So, I must defend the reformulation a bit :). One of my fail safe fragrances. Really different, cool, interesting. 8/10. A beautiful creation. When I give some thought to it, I can tell that it is not a regular vanilla composition - meaning it isn't overly sweet, and it isn't choked up with fruits and flowers. My father loved Cabochard but didn't wear it because , at the time, Cabochard was deemed feminine. Much less “classic” than Shalimar, this balmy and balsamic vanilla is warm and delicious, but really needs solidly cold temperatures to shine properly, IMO. Then again, my skin tends to heavily amplify sweet notes, especially vanilla. Such a lovely scent but there is no lasting power whatsoever :( Stunning bottle as well! Don't let the cheap price fool you, there's a lot of class in this juice. The Vanilla is not cloying but definitely there and along with the bay leaf, make this a very interesting and unique scent. I love this perfume, it's so unique, dusty, glamorous! I couldn’t get past the bay leaf. It started with spicy sweet scent, and disappeared into almost nothing.. then after a few minutes a sweet jasmine appeared, the type of soft jasmine that is calming and soothing. Absolutely nice discovery. It’s a similar philosophy by which a music lover might build a record collection. Well, that was Lalique Le Parfum for me. This is more masculine than feminine. The new formula is still very enjoyable and wonderful if you can’t find the original one anymore. It is not far off of man's Lalique Hommage a L'Homme and Bentley for men. What an amazing aromatic minty opening. It's not super interesting and some might even call it a bit bland, but overall I think it's a cozy cool weather scent for what seems practically free these days, price wise. I am still unsure what I think about this perfume. I'll always have this in my collection ~ She is a wanted addition ~ Welcome Home ~ ///=^} ~. My gloves smell absolutely glorious this morning. The bay is just too strong and medicinal to my nose and I can only detect the slightest amount of sweetness lurking in the background. I don't love it but I like its uniqueness. It's unique, and the hint of pink pepper does wonders. Yammy, creamy and a bit loud. It's feminine and classy. Most certainly not eau de cologne type of intensity. It is easily wearable and although I don’t really smell it on myself, others do. I have this....it's long lasting and smells very much like an expensive perfume worn by someone with a lot of money. Warm and classy blend of vanilla, tonka, pink pepper and almond - at least these are the most prominent in the far drydown. It's a steal for the price, too. If I am running out of the door, I can usually grab it and spray it on without worrying about offending anyone. Well done. And the drydown is unfortunately rather synthetic. It is exactly this smell that I detect for a short time in Le Parfum in concert with the Bay, 'Laurus nobilis'. This scent rides on the powder train as the caboose - i smell more vanilla than powder and more spice than sweetness- I totally love ---wait what was I talking about the scent is gone already. The dry-down on clothing after several hours is lovely, but I don't think I can get past the beginning and middle of this to get to that point, when I have other perfumes in my collection with similar notes that are sublime to my nose from start to finish. It transforms into a wonderful smell of some heavenly gingerbread on my hair. Disarmingly loud, charmingly chemical, touchingly linear, distorting one's sweet tooth - do tell me what's not to love in here? It's perfect for the winter. It was dusty, sweet and spicy. This is an easy gift for others. My first impression was synthetic, thick, heavy syrup, with some sort of "off" note that sticks in the craw. A keeper. Meh. Very feminine and longstanding; moderate projection. I smelt like I had rolled around in an herbal spice cabinet. This vanilla is creamy and smoky. Well , not for me , I had a nose full of indeed, a traditional tabac scent , which I dislike. On initial spray this feels like I've stumbled into a dark bar only to trip over the smokers table spilling all the drinks and ashtrays all over me! I figured it was good timing. Interesting gourmand perfume, it's not too sweet, very comforting. It's not the cupcake or cotton candy sweet of most vanillas on the market. This is so sultry, so sexy. This Lalique was a really fun fragrance to try out. Gurl, you’re gonna have to work a little harder than that to earn my love Lalique. I wear it less these days because I don't want to overpower everyone with the heaviness of the smell, but there is something very wonderful and winter spicy here that I'll always appreciate. An aromatic, creamy and balmy vanilla that you can wear day and night at any occasion. The key to this beauty is to wait it out.. I would say it’s not a safe blind buy though; because it’s unusual and might not be what you’re expecting of a “vanilla frag,” depends on what you’re familiar with. Some men asked me what l wear but l never told them, only to my friends. Until I discovered Shalimar EDC with its leather+citrus+vanilla. The dry down is my favorite! This one smells... beige, I find. To me this is mostly Vanilla with a slight note of other ingredient (cannot specify which one). Isn't it strange how you can dislike a perfume , put it away, have a craving months down the road and suddenly love the scent! I'd call it a light oriental. Cacao, almond, heliotrop, very nice. So I have experience with the old formula. This is a wonderful perfume. Let it drift up to your nose. I like it very much, but on my skin it just a whisper. 4,312 votes. I was planning on buying a back up bottle of Jimmy Choo, but feel the same cosy warmth from this. Who knows, or cares really? No jasmine, no heliotrope, no Indian bay, no almond. After about 10 minutes it turns into a mix of heliotrope and white flowers which gives me a headache for about 30 minutes. Don't miss in your collection. Good, but not my favorite. The scent itself is nice but nothing groundbreaking. It projects a wonderful "handsome image." A very nice vanilla fragrance with a twist from pepper and bay leaf. It’s lovely, the spices are absolutely divine. When I move around people notice ..even after 12 hours of work in a Resturant. Totally underrated, super cheap, classy, with a beautiful decanter (as always in Lalique collection) and a great nose behind that (D Ropion). I love vanilla and patchouli scents and I have a fondness for all things Lalique. On the right person I'm sure it would smell lovely, it just doesn't work for me at all :(. So, in the drawer it went. Very heady and sweet oriental with excellent silage and longevity - it lasted well over 10 hours on me. As already said it is a difficult fragrance to describe. What a huge disappointment , a low grade fragrance with great names attached to it ! the greenness fades a little in the dry down and you are left with interesting dry tonka/vanilla skin scent. Even in healthcare, which always poses its own myriad of challenges, this lady is amiable and adaptable. I mean it smelled rich, sweet and elegant, yet almost seductively intoxicating. It is confident enough to round profiles with notes of bay leaf, pepper and jasmine. It reminded me of something I have smelled before but couldn't put my finger on. This is a good thing. It must be the bay leaf that pushes LLP into “special” territory, and into unisex territory. The crowd around would be pleased as well, given that I was longing to please it. Apparently vanilla smell as some " pipe tobacco " now. Overall, Le Parfum is an excellent gourmand scent with good performance. For me there is no dominant note in this and it is a very well balanced scent. Something about 2020 changed in my perspective. This is a lovely scent, especially as it dries down. The vanilla is sweet but not edible sweet, similar to Hypnothic Poison. A scent that is bold, unique and dare I say, is not perfume-y- by that I mean that it reminds me more of a sort of extravagant fabric you would wear that will make people turn around to get a second glimpse of you in relation to a pretty scent you would want to impress others or yourself. I blind bought and I do like it. I believe this might be my favorite almond bomb. Although in Dragon i find the almond and vetiver makes it more bitter. i was expecting a sweeter fragrance. My husband finds the dry down to be too feminine while I find the top notes to be a bit masculine for me liking. It's like a really thick, overly sweet syrup. I really wanted to like this but it is very linear and I think that is whats holding me back. I love the bay leaf note at the top! And I had some trouble handling Shalimar. I was a bit hesitant to buy this blindly because of the very mixed reviews that especially pointed out the strong opening note of bay leaf. Like, I've smelled it before. It isn’t powdery on me. A great addition to my wardrobe. Artikel aus echtem Gold (alle Goldlegierungen). I don’t know if I can speak for many other fragrance collectors, but here’s my thing about collecting: much of the fun in owning all of these bottles is the notion of having a vast array of options. The bottle design is very Orient via the Seventies, which only makes me like it more. I'm very lucky in that throughout my history and love affair with perfume, I've only come across a handful of scents that either didn't agree with me or just didn't fit me or my personality. However the longevity and sillage is practically non existent. But over the years of owning it I believe it has toned down or my tastes have changed and now I love it! Elegant is a perfect word for this perfume. I wear a lot of different perfumes, but this one has recently received an unusual amount of compliments from men. I am partial to Ropion's formulas. What an understated and strange perfume. What even is this? Do you know those fragrances that confuse your senses so much that you immediately dismiss them, believing you will never wear them no matter how many reviewers swear it’s lovely? This frag totally delivers me all the pleasantness and elegance of mature women. At first I felt like this scent was too loud and mature for me, but after the impressionable opening it settled into a soft powdery vanilla scent which also somewhat reminds me of lipstick scent. I love when the scent is sweet, but balanced enough so it does not get tired. This isn't like the sweet, sugary vanillas I normally wear. But in such strong and headaching way that I just cannot bear it. Mmm,I looove vanilla&almond in this one!lt's a classy, expensive french scent .Definitely not a girly frag.Exellent sillage and longivity. Lalique Le Parfum by Lalique is a Oriental fragrance for women.Lalique Le Parfum was launched in 2005. It is a scent that has a unisex let, but cotrolado and nothing aimed at the male side. The bottle is GORGEOUS, and the price is ridiculously reasonable. Oh wow. This is the best vanilla. It is differnt and not a croud pleaser. I have been wearing it almost every day for the past couple of weeks so this is definitively a good grab and go for the winter. Somehow it is different to me now. To me the new and the old ones are so similar, that one can make a difference only if they spray both on both hands and compare. This is lovely to me and if any expert nose has a idea of what note gives this perfume it's powderyness (heliotrope)? It lasts along time with great sillage, another bonus. I got almost a little tense after spraying it once and decided to lay down and wait a while, it wasn't sickening just somehow overwhelming at first.
